From Principal's Desk

Dear Parent/Guardian,

From time immemorial, human beings have been striving for their basic needs - food, clothing, and shelter. Gradually education forayed into the arena and cemented its position as the fourth most important need to form a stable and happy society. As John Fitzgerald Kennedy said, “The goal of education is the advancement of knowledge and the dissemination of truth”, so is our motto. The Calcutta School of Scholars (CSS) has been formed keeping the importance of education and learning at its core. We intend to focus on the holistic development of our students by imparting academic knowledge, a sense of morality, and the belief of proper behavior and conduct, along with their personal growth.

30 years of experience in the world of academia has made me realize that not all students are equally sound in academics. An unfortunate academic hazard can nip all their hopes and aspirations in the bud. Confucius once said, “Education breeds confidence. Confidence breeds hope. Hope breeds peace.” We believe that it is our responsibility to motivate these students, instill new dreams and hopes in their minds, and help them come out with flying colors. We really believe that we all need second chances to better ourselves. It is our duty to solve the academic problems of our students so that you and your child are assured of a smoother life. It is our deep conviction that our society and its people will symbiotically support us in reaching our goal. Additionally, we are also aware of the fact that quality education has become a costly affair in the present times. Keeping that in mind, we are offering an affordable fee structure for all the classes, a configuration that you would not be able to find anywhere else, for an institution of this stature.

Last but not the least, I would personally request you to give us your honest feedback. We would love to engage with you to improve ourselves with respect to fees, pedagogy, academic development, study method, and so on. Sincerely hoping to make this venture a grand one, with your help and support.
